The 305 Mom Story

Hi, I'm Norma 🌴 Born and raised in Miami. Still here, still rooted, and now raising my own two children in the city I love. Before I became your campus contact, I spent years working in the care industry—early childhood education and learning. That experience taught me something that has stayed with me ever since: Transitions are hard whether you are a one-year-old, an 18-year-old, or even a senior! And nobody should have to navigate them alone.

Sending your child to college is one of the biggest transitions your family will ever face. And when your student is hundreds of miles away in a city you don't know, that distance can feel overwhelming. That's where I come in. I'm your person on the ground. Your eyes, your hands, your local connection when you can't be here.

Whether your student needs an emergency run, a care package that actually feels like home, or someone to check in when life gets hard — I show up. As a Miami local I bring something no national service can offer: real roots. I know this city, I know this community, and I have access to the network of local Miami moms that only comes from actually living here. As much or as little as you need I am here. Security. Peace of mind. A familiar face for your student in a brand new city. 🧡 That is The 305 Mom.
